The Moonlight Parade - As daylight fades, Battle transforms.
Saturday 15th August. The arena will be open from 1800, again with pre-parade entertainment, food and drink on the south side of Victoria Avenue.
What is refined by day becomes dramatic by night.
As the sun sets, the floats will leave Lower Park, ablaze with their illuminations, and The Moonlight parade westwards along the arena, finishing at Rue de Galet. At approximately 22.00, there will be a fireworks finale, which can be viewed from the sea wall along the arena. [All times TBC].
Illuminated Atmosphere
Exhibits compete once again, this time judged for illumination, atmosphere and presentation. Precision lighting design, animation and creativity are placed under the spotlight.
As the parade builds towards its finale, anticipation fills the arena. The evening concludes with a spectacular fireworks display over St Aubin’s Bay, illuminating the Island skyline and bringing the celebrations to a memorable close.
